Nursing care will be suitable if, in addition to needing residential care, you also have medical care needs. You may need someone to:
- Monitor your nutritional intake – this might include managing your tube-feed
- Look after your wound-care and take measures to prevent damage to your skin – this is crucially important if you spend a lot of time in one position
- Monitor your medical condition around-the-clock
- Provide you with palliative care and pain control including giving injection
