‘Oakwood’ is a cosy, household which is home to up to twelve people and is situated in our annex building, Eventhall House. Opened in 2016, Oakwood was purpose-built for the care of people with dementia.
Its small nursing and care team provide expert care for people who need specialist nursing dementia care. Our team is able to administer medication if required. Oakwood is ideal if you have more complicated care needs, due to your dementia or another mental health problem.
Our team offers a holistic approach to your care, aiming to offer you the best quality of life. They aim to keep you as independent as possible. They focus on what you can still do for yourself, rather than what you can no longer do without help.
