The Fed
improving lives
The Fed is the Manchester Jewish Community’s leading social welfare organisation. Their mission is to improve the lives of Jewish people living in Manchester. Each year The Fed help in the region of 3,000 people - approximately 1 in 10 members of the community - people from all sorts of financial and religious backgrounds who have all sorts of social care problems. They are carers, children at risk or with special needs, people who are bereaved, have mental health problems or physical disabilities, people in financial crisis, people who are isolated or in hospital and those who are subject to violence or abuse. They turn to The Fed for advice, support and guidance.
