Times of Services in Synagogue The Jewish Ethos of The Heathlands Village is reflected in our beautiful synagogue, with daily Minyan (Religious Services) and the Kosher cuisine on offer. Judaism and Jewish religious, cultural and social life prevails the atmosphere at the home. Naturally, the Sabbath is fully observed and all festivals, major and minor, are celebrated. Heathlands Village employs a rabbi who is available to residents for discussions. We also have a supervised Kosher kitchen to ensure all dietary laws are complied with. Although Heathlands Village is officially run on ‘orthodox’ lines, there is no compulsion to anyone to practice on a personal basis, so long as ‘kashrut’ is observed and the sensitivities of others e.g. on a Sabbath are respected.
