Heathlands Village and CST organised a corporate lunch featuring guest speaker Sir Victor Blank at Manchester Freemasons Hall in November.
Mothers & Daughters Fashion Show
Heathlands Village held 2 fashion shows in November at Bal Harbour which raised £2400
Tesco Collection Day - October 2009
Heathlands held a Collection day at Tesco on Thursday 16th October 2009. Although it was raining and windy, thanks to a number of volunteers we raised nearly £400
Golf Day 2009
Heathlands Village held their Annual Golf Tournament at Whitefield Golf Club in September. Almost £25,000 was raised on the day.
Tesco Collection Day - July 2009
Heathlands held a Collection day at Tesco on Thursday 23rd July 2009. Thanks to a number of volunteers standing in the rain we raised around £400
Telethon
We held our Annual Telethon at Searchlight (Oldham Road) on Sunday, May 17th, 2009.
Great Manchester Run
Heathlands Village secured 15 places in the Great Manchester 10k Run which took place on Sunday 17th May.
Table Top Sale
The Heathlands Village held a Table Top Sale on Sunday 7th December at the David Horwich Hall
Bridge Night 2008
The Heathlands Village held a Bridge Tournament on Sunday 7th December in Balcolmbe Hall Restaurant, Heathlands.
Golf Day 2008
The Heathlands Village Golf Day was held on Monday 15 September at Dunham Forest Golf Club. Almost £20,000 was raised on the day.
Tesco Collection Day 2008
We held a collecting day on Thursday 4 September at Prestwich Tesco on Valley Road where we raised nearly £450.
Telethon 2008
The annual telethon was held at Searchlight on Sunday 18th May 2008. Over 60 volunteers kindly gave up a few hours of their time to hit the phones and call donors. Heathlands Village would like to thank Searchlight for providing their wonderful facilities, all the volunteers and the donors who generously gave on the day.
Healthy at Heathlands Month
We had a team of 13 that took part in the 10K Great Manchester Run on Sunday 18th May 2008 and a team of 5 Nurses also started a sponsored diet. The money raised will go towards the development of a new Library and Memorial Hall to help keep the minds of the residents healthy and active
Gala Dinner 2008
Over 400 people attended The Heathlands Village Gala Dinner on
28 January 2008 at Manchester United. For more information see our news page.
Tesco Collection
The Heathlands Village raised almost £500 at a collection outside the Prestwich Tesco store on Thursday 26th July. A number of volunteers kindly offered their time. Despite the heavy rainfall shoppers were very generous in their support. We would like to thank Tesco, volunteers and the public.
