The Heathlands Village nursing department cares for the needs of 52 residents with varying levels of dependency.
In 2006 Hamburger West, a designated area for people suffering from dementia was opened. We constantly keep up-to-date with changes in dementia care to ensure our residents are given the care and support needed to lead a comfortable and fulfilled life.
We are committed to person and resident centred care – building on a person’s strengths and empowering people to maintain independence, sustain their abilities and promote self-esteem and well being.
Our in-house physiotherapy department enables The Heathlands Village to offer residents high quality treatment assisting in pain relief, restoration of movement and much more.
