Due to changes in Government funding and the changing profile of our residents, The Heathlands Village is always in need of donations to ensure future survival. We have a number of ongoing fundraising activities and always welcome new ideas of ways to raise money.
Tesco Collection Day 2008 We will be holding a collecting day on Thursday 4 September at Prestwich Tesco on Valley Road. If you could spare a few hours to volunteer your services please contact Dolly Abelson on 0161 772 4927.
Golf Day 2008 The Heathlands Village Golf Day will be held on Monday 15 September at Dunham Forest Golf Club. If you are interested in entering a team or advertising in the brochure please contact David Barnett on 07778 204057.
Bridge Night 2008 The Heathlands Village is holding a Bridge Tournament on Sunday 7th December in Balcolmbe Hall Restaurant, Heathlands at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are priced at £8.00 per person in advance or £10.00 per person on the night. The Foundation Fund We have set up a charitable fund to cover the shortfall of those Local Authority funded residents who are unable to fund the full cost of care and to secure the future of The Heathlands Village.
Equipment We are constantly updating our services and equipment at The Heathlands Village to ensure the highest quality of support and facilities are on offer for our residents. Various items can be dedicated to The Heathlands Village to help us provide what our residents deserve. Mobile Phones We are currently collecting your used, old or defunct mobile phones. It does not matter what age, condition or the value. Please drop the phones into The Heathlands Village or contact us.
